Orphans in Nepal
Saturday evening we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to be a sponsor for a very noble charity ball. Freedom Cares was started two years ago by Keven Tate who was inspired by a life changing trek in Nepal. During his time there he saw first hand the horrible conditions in which orphans were growing up. He felt compelled to help, and now has raised enough money to place six children into loving foster homes, a welcome change from the destitute orphanges they were previously living in.
