So I know you've heard me praise Linguini Fini before (as seen on this blog here), well they just keep giving me more and more reason to.
Last night I attended the Island East Market meet and greet at LF. Not only were the amazing pizza and gigantic meatballs free flowing, but there were even some social media celebrities in attendance.

And my favorite LF man, Wahid was there holding the bar down.
Amazing.
The Island East Market begins Sunday September 30th, and runs every Sunday through October 21st. This is the brainchild of Janice Leung and her business partner Vincent Poon. The idea is simple; create the largest farmers market Hong Kong has ever seen. With over 40 vendors signed up, we have no doubt these markets will continue long past their scheduled October run!
And if you hadn't guessed it, HOFWs is one of the 40 to take part! Here's what Janie said about the vendors who will be present:

'Vendor-wise, awesome local/organic/fair trade food and lifestyle products from pioneers like Connoisseur Groceries as well as tea, florists, organic baby wear, handmade accessories, delicious coffee and food from ace peeps like Naked Table and Tai Tai Pie Pies... there's a lot! There will also be cooking demos that'll show you how to put all that wonderful produce to use.'
