Chardonnay Heaven

A long forgotten, raggedy labeled, Reserve Chardonnay from Argentina was bestowed upon me yesterday, so I did what I must and popped her open.  Despite the appearance, I went into this knowing I would like it.

Reserve!  2007! Chardonnay!  Argentina!  

It had all the makings for some evening enjoyment.  And enjoy it I did!  It was delicious.  Rich and oaky, yet also floral with apricot and melon flavors.  I imbibed this after dinner, but I imagine it would go great with some chicken or seafood alfredo.
