Giancarlo, Linda, and Davide

Giancarlo and Davide Ponte, winemakers, along with their Export Manager, Linda Paci, have arrived in Hong Kong for their first ever trip to the Far East.  Giancarlo and Davide produce some fantastic wines for Carlin de Paolo in Piedmont, Italy.  We currently carry their Moscato d'Asti, but look forward to trying some of their other wines at a vertical tasting tomorrow. 

The Ponte Family

Carlin de Paolo got it's start in 2000, but the Ponte family has been making wines for four generations.  In 2000 some of the family members decided to go different ways stylistically, so brothers Davide and Giancarlo founded their own company.  They are firmly committed to maintaining quality in all of the wines they produce. So what do they produce, you ask?

After taking Giancarlo, Davide, and Linda around yesterday, I am confident that our tasting tomorrow will be a great success.  They are pumped full of excitement and energy, and that kind of passion is evident through the vines and the vino!
